Sunday School

Our Sunday School takes place during the 9:30 worship hour. Sunday School runs September-May. Classes are available for children who are 3 years old by Oct. 15th of the current year – 8th grade. A Bible Study is available for high school students during the 9:30 hour in the FLY room on the northeast corner of the building.

If you are interested in visiting a class, we welcome you. Please stop by the superintendent’s desk located in the northwest corner of the building so they may direct you to the appropriate room. (See the First Time Visit page for additional information about how things are situated in this space.) If you plan to attend regularly, please enroll your student so supplies and curriculum can be ordered.

To enroll, please print off a registration form for each student and fill it out. Either bring this form with you when you come for the first time or drop it by the church office before you plan to attend for a smoother transition. Registration forms are also available through the Superintendents.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will take place June 14 - June 18 at Midland Lutheran College. It is for preschool students who have turned 3 by Oct 15th of the previous calendar year, and for students who have completed grades K-6. Registration forms are available March 14th. Key leaders are needed, please sign up in the Ministry Center.

Outreach VBS

Outreach VBS is an outreach ministry geared to serve the student population in the Washington School area. This program takes place June 21-25 at Moller Field. An evening meal is served from 5-6 and activities run from 6-8pm.

Good Friday Camp

Good Friday Camp is a long standing tradition at FLC. Each year students in grades K-3 come to church on Good Friday from 9m-3pm to learn more about the Easter holiday. Students do a variety of activities to reinforce Jesus’ finished work on the cross. Crafts, games, songs and stories are all planned to deepen the students understanding and love for our Savior. Registrations are available beginning on March 7.
