The Senior Choir rehearses weekly during the school year at 8:30 am in the Heritage Room.  They faithfully serves as Worship Leaders each week at the 9:30 am Blended Service.  The choir also provides special music at many of our special services throughout the year.  Bruce Bartels serves as Director, and Laurie Bartels is the accompanist.

Instrumentalists are used to help lead music in worship at various times throughout the year.  An organized ensemble of volunteer musicians rehearses approximately six weeks prior to “special” services such as Reformation Festival Worship and Easter Festival Worship.  For more information on our next occasion, please contact Amy Brandert – amyb@flc-ne.org.

The Cherubs meet weekly during the school year to begin to grow their musical skills and their passion for sharing God’s love with others through music.  The Cherub Choir sings once a month at the 9:30 Blended Service.  Amy Brandert serves as Director, and Barb Hanen is the accompanist.

The Junior Choir meets weekly during the school year to continue developing their singing skills and also learning how music fits into our worship life.  The Juniors enjoy sharing their music once a month at the 9:30 Blended Service, at occasional special worship services, and at community events.  Amy Brandert serves as Director, and is assisted by Rachel Samuelson and Sara Speicher.

Join Amy, Rachel, and Sara on Wednesday Nights from 6:15-7:00 pm in Room 126 for singing, fellowship, and fun!  We will sing the prelude for the 9:30 am service on the 4th Sundays of each month.  Rehearsals have begun - please join us!

Fly Bells is our Bell Choir for High School aged students.  This group usually rings for Christmas Eve and/or Easter Morning worship.  The group meets on Wednesday evenings for an hour after the FLY (First Lutheran Youth) meeting/activity.  This group rehearses approximately six weeks before their scheduled worship service. Our 11:00 am Contemporary Worship Service is led by a volunteer Praise Band made up of singers and instrumentalists; including keyboard, guitar, and percussion.
