More Volunteer Opportunities:

2nd Monday Men

Lock Squad – If you offer to help with this task, you’ll be trained to secure the church after a walk-through of the building each night at 9 p.m. The rotation for locking is a month at a time.  It’s a simple but important way to help the congregation care for the property with which we’ve been entrusted.  Contact Jill at the office if you would like to help.

Mowers – From May through October volunteers mow and trim the green space nearest the building.  The volunteers are paired together and assigned a weekend to mow.   Sign up via the “green sheets” in the spring, or contact Dick Norenberg who coordinates the mowers.

Over the Road Gang – If you’re able to drive and have the gift of flexibility with your time, perhaps you can help provide this ministry of transportation.  Our purpose is to assist members who are in need of a ride to an evening event, a doctor’s appointment or maybe even a worship service.   Contact Jill at the office if you would like to help.

Ministry Meals - Members who have recently been dismissed from the hospital are offered a meal.  Bread and salad are added to a main dish provided by a congregational volunteer.  Contact Tami Hall at the office if you are willing to do some cooking for this ministry.
